Saw this awhile ago. Good (but flawed) script; interesting performances.

There was some Oscar buzz on this, but I don't think so. Still, I liked the combination of Chris' character's badassness and his vulnerabilities.

A real good story about Christopher Walken

'Walken starred in a Broadway musical adaptation of James Joyce’s The Dead. A friend of someone in my office worked on the production as a stagehand. As the stagehand tells it, the cast and crew were relaxing backstage one afternoon when Walken, who until that point had been standing off to one side, interrupted the conversation with an off-point question.

"There is a show on television. The Nanny,” he said. “What is the name of that woman who plays the nanny?”

"That would be Fran Drescher,” someone offered.

"Fran . . . Drescher.”

"Yup. Fran Drescher.”

Walken considered this.

"Fran Drescher . . . Fran Drescher . . .” he mumbled, slowly drifting out of the room. “I would like to fuck that woman, yes!”'

I watch the made-for-TV movie just to see how Chris was portrayed, and the actor playing Chris was just aweful.

The movie, BTW, stuck to the story that Natalie and Chris were "just friends" and Robert Wagner was way jealous.

that CW trys to fit in a scene in every one of his movies where he dances, if only for a minute. The ones I can think of he does, but though I'm a fan, I'm certainly not an expert.

So I just got cast in this play, and the male lead looks like Chris (circa mid-80s)...not overwhelmingly so, but enough that people have told him has such.

The really weird part: sometimes, when acting, he sounds like Chris. Catchs some of the same cadence.
