Caught it last night. Not one of CW's best roles, but what happens to him toward the end caught me by surprise and adds to the big pile of bizarre CW movie moments.

Fri, July 9, 2004 - 2:48 PMI saw him on David Letterman a few weeks ago and he said initially they wanted him to wear a girdle for that role. Then after the first few scenes they told him he could take forget it and the girdle off, but by then CW felt the girdle was part of the character, and left it on for the whole film.
Perhaps this contributed to the walking difficulty?
I haven't seen this film yet. I was curious about it.... -

Fri, July 9, 2004 - 2:54 PMCW as Mike was the best part of the film, though Bette Middler was great as well. As weird as CW is, in the best way possible, he did come across as the guys guy(playing Mike).
